I am not a hard core gamer and was on a limited budget. What do you guys think?
Asus Crosshair
AMD Athlon 64 x2 5200+ Brisbane
MSI R4670
4gig Corsair PC2 6400
Antec 500watt PS
Samsung 320gig HD 3.0gb/s
Really the only game I am looking to play is Unreal 3.

Do you already own the Crosshair? I ask because that's not a cheap motherboard, you would be far wiser to use a cheap Intel board and CPU, as the lower end Intel CPUs represent superb value, especially with a basic knowledge of overclocking. The rest of the component choices (GPU, RAM, PSU, HDD) are excellent, though be sure to buy the Earthwatts Power supply, not any of Antec's other product ranges.

Not bad, but it's about the same price as a similar performing Intel system, possibly a faster one.
As for Antec, as I said, Antec make different PSUs, the Antec Earthwatts is good, but the Antec NeoPower and TruePower units aren't as reliable, quiet or efficient.

I prefer XP, as it's more reliable than Vista, but has the drawback of not supporting certain games. Unreal 3 is not one of those, however.

64-bit drives are fine for the most part, and 64-bit OSes offer better performance for applications that support it. The only thing I advise against with 64-bit Vista is an nvidia graphics card.
