I just installed Nero 8. Went to open it and it says I have a corrupted installation or invalid license. So, i uninstalled and re-installed it. Same thing. Anyone have the same problem? I have Vista. Is VISTA the problem??

I too have Vista and it's a new system. They installed Nero 7 essentials. Apparently when loading it missed a .dll file. Now I can not reload this because when i go to uninstall this it says I cant because of an error! Stil waiting to my answer. Cant download a picture or what a video because of this.

dwirth....did they give u the disc w/the original programs for the comp when u got it? Nero should be on that disc. If you insert the disc and click "fix" instead of uninstall it should fix the problem.

probably not.. it's all perinstalled scamware these days.
Why don't you both download and use the right nero clean tool for your versions and then use some proper proven to work free conversion and burning solutions instead of that obsolete expensive bloatware?

It could be either Vista or Nero. Download the latest Nero 8 via Nero's website and you'll need to get Nero 8 Clean Tool to completely wipe out and uninstall Nero from your computer, restart your system, then have CCleaner clean out the rest. Now try to reinstall Nero 8 back on.
http://www.nero.com/enu/tools-utilities.html#tab4
NOTE: don't have add/remove to uninstall Nero 7, 8 or 9, always use it's correct Clean Tool to wipe them first, then have CCleaner do the rest. Once you've installed Nero into your system, it stayed there hidden inside your machine, so regardless of how many time you've uninstall and reinstall, it won't work - it's thinking it's "pirated". Unless you clean it with it's Clean Tool, then CCleaner and do it fresh again.

the disc only says install nero 7 essentials or install adobe. does not say anything about fix. So that will not work for me.
