I just got MGS2, sons of liberty. Bought it used and when I put the game in the console it asks me to start a new game and then just returns to the start menu every time. It won't even go to the options menu, it just returns to the start menu. What gives? Anyone else heard of this?

Lol, sorry for me laughing but I have answered this question many times in the last month or so.

All you need to do is press O on the PS2 controller and that will fix it.

All the Metal Gear Solid games use O instead of X
