Can i make a music log?

What i want to do is have a notepad file be a log for all the music i played on iTunes.
I would like it to make an output that tells what time i played the song and what the title of it is
is this possible?

WinAmp does it automatically. IDK, but doubt, iTunes can.

I am curious to know why you want something like that. Then I don't manually select a tune but once or twice in a year. I normally shuffle or play play lists. I just skip a tune if I heard it in a week or two.

I am a itunes drop out for 4 yrs but I know it stores that data. You might look into the auto playlist functions. I know it will make a playlist of the last ? tunes you played.

The biggest strenght and biggest weakness of itunes is it is designed for the computer challanged. If you want to use something more than the basics you need to get another app. WinAmp, Media Monkey and Foobar2000 are the top jukeboxes. Each does things better than the rest. I like Media Monkey because it has powerful syncing options, like adding subtracting play lists to the auto sync to do list. It handles the huge (500g+) librarys the best.

However do not try syncing with a third pary without backing up your ipod first. I would even suggest uninstalling itunes before you sync. Itunes is like a jealous woman and will attack your ipod if you have been unfaithful. You can uninstal and keep all your information so you can start where you left off if you change your mind. Many itunes users freek out with so many choices.
