Can you get caught file sharing if are wirelessy connected to your neighbors router? Is BT the best option. I plan on downloading many hd movies and I am trying to think of the best plan in the safest manner possible. Please help.

I don't know much about this but doubt it although the neighbor could. Also don't know if the neighbor's ISP can ID you if this is illegal theft. Have a look at Newsgroups (full bandwidth download speed alway's), some reading for you: http://www.slyck.com/ng.php or IRC although IRC is slow and the queue's are really annoying plus each site seem's to have their own commands plus I think that command had to be given within 30 second's, not much time if I remember correctly. No uploading with either although a paid News Server will probably be needed, there are free News Reader's, NewsLeecher is a good payware reader.

You are stealing.. It's a criminal offence in most western countries..

If they catch your neighbour.. or accuse them they will object.. because they haven't been doing what is accused.. then the neighbour will probably get the police involved.. they will watch you connect.. then get a warrant.. and because it is a real crime, not a civil type "copyright infringement" action, they will get a warrant and come through your door and catch you in the act of stealing.. You better not have any stolen software or burned dvd's in nice covers around.. or they will have you for those too.. the warrant will be "search and seizure".

An "ethical" hacker would cease and desist immediately, and inform the neighbour their wireless network is unsecured.. and suggest steps to secure it. If they say they leave it open intending it to be used as a public free wifi access point/gateway then you should tell them about the possibility for abuse and suggest they set maximum limits for downloads by connection.

You're joking right??
News break - stealing someone's internet is not an anonymous act nor anything else you do on the internet. Like posting something illegal like this on a public forum.

The safest manner is paying for a legal service that offers this and download them using YOUR internet.
