My SD card started acting up again today. I placed a rom file on it, ejected it by right clicking the drive and clicking "eject", and then took it out after the name of the drive went away. When I placed it in my DS, however, my M3 DS Real wouldn't detect it, so I placed it back into my computer, suspecting that it had been corrupted again, and I was correct.

Now usually, I'd just format the card, re-install the firmware and then copy all of my backup saves onto the card, but this time, the computer just won't pick up the card. On the computer I'm on now, which has SD card slots on the front of it, 4 drives are always shown in My computer, but right clicking the one it's SUPPOSED to show up on just freezes and I have to close the window down or remove the card to make it work again.

I should also note that this is the first time in months that this has happened, after I learned how to treat my card correctly. I suspect my sd card simply died (the things are pretty flimsy, something inside it might have broken).

Anyway, can someone please confirm whether or not my sd card is busted, or tell me how I can get it working again?
