I was told by a friend on this site to try to help with your situation.

From what I Read This is what I can tell you:

"The slide card" is a tool used to run along the side of the disk drive to open the drive while swap magic is running, this will allow YOU to "hot swap" the disk with a burnt dvd or a import. Similar to sticking a pin in a dvd drive to force it open, the disk will not be spinning and you would be able too insert your own disk.

I am not sure if this is all you need because I was told the ps2 slim has 3 sensors which detect the disk (If its burnt or not etc,) I heard this can be covered with a tissue or straw (tissues would be better) - I assume someone will answer this question or I will do research on it and try to help you.

You did not specify what type of ps2 you have slim or fat?

EDIT:
THIS CANNOT BE USED FOR THE SLIM PS2 TOO MY KNOWLEDGE BUT I COULD BE WRONG, I HAVE SEEN SWAP MAGICS WEBSITE OFFERING A DIFFERENT TOOL CALLED "MAGIC SWITCH" http://www.swapmagic3.com/Swap_Magic_Feature.htm

The alternative is the "Flip Top" which in turn would make you open the top of the ps2 and replace the top with a custom one from Egay or a trusted site. I seen this at swap magics site next too the magic switch. http://www.swapmagic3.com/Swap_Magic_Feature.htm

Now I also seen one here at vpgames for about $35.00 with Swap magic included the dvd (for dvd games) and the CD (for cd Games) I recommend this more then the "magic switch" as I have done this and can guide you through it easily.

The site you provided says its also made for the ps2two (aka the slim one) but I have read this is not possible if you have a slim. so be careful and don't try to save $5 bucks and end up with a useless tool and a good swap magic disk what nothing too do with it.

Surely someone will answer this or I will do some more research my friend did not specify your what type of ps2 you own.

Good luck and do drugs.

Ok upon further review I have found out the best solution is the flip-top, Me and my friend who told me too help you have done it before. And he told me you have a slim ps2 so I think the slide will not work son.

Very easy to install
http://www.swapmagic3.com/Flip_Top_7000X_Install.htm

I seen 1 here for about $35.00 with swap magic.
http://vpgames.com/p-772-ps2-slim-swap-m...-top-cover.aspx

Seen 1 here for $21.00 which is cheaper then the stupid slide tool.
http://www.gocybershop.ca/customer/produ...ctid=1296&cat=0

All those sites were taken from swap magics where to buy site.

I am still unsure if the slide tool works on the ps2two and not just the fat ps2. anyone know if it does?

In my opinion and I been modding for a while different consoles your better off with the flip top its a good steal for $21.00

Here is a little intro on swap magic and how its used thus applies the the fat ps2 not the slim using the but you can ignore the part and read how to burn the games on a DVD. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/340944
