I've closed the program.
Is there a way to check back on it?

Your drive doesn't seem to like this media.
The only reliable DL media is Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) made in Singapore burned at 2.4x.

Ahh i see..
If i got a different Drive would that help ?
These DVD-D/L are classed as 2ND CLASS MEDIA on 2 sites,, So i thought they might be ok.
If i got a better DVD drive to burn them would that suit?

Just for the hell of it:
Clean your laser lens.
Shut down programs running in the background.
Try burning at 4x.
