is there a way to change how long it takes before the tracker is updated?

if i update the tracker more oftern i get a lot higher speeds, as when i dont it drops down to 3-4kbs. which makes downloads take alot longer exspecially on big files with viewer seeders

how does updating the tracker make you speeds faster? never heard of that one before, no need to update the tracker ,it works ok by it self, if you keep updating it just overloads the tracker and if a lot of user's do it the tracker will go down and you will not be able to connect to others and your speeds will suffer. but if you really have to update it there are two ways (for ”Torrent 1.8) ,1>right click on whatever torrent you want to update and you will see "update tracker", 2> general>tracker>right click on the tracker url and click on update tracker, but like i said if you keep doing this it will just overload the tracker. and if you want good speeds use private trackers, your line will max out most of the time

the best thing that works for me is putting the download speed to unlimited,it should go to the right speed and stay at it also.
