Can you/How do you backup a DVD onto a USB Flash drive ??

I have a Philips DVD player that a USB Flash Drive port on it.

I was given a 8GB Kingston USB Flash Drive as a birthday gift, by my brother.

How do you backup a DVD onto a USB Flash Drive ??

What programs can be used to do this ??

I am thinking it is a Divx compatible player, so the best way would probably be to convert your DVDs to AVI(Divx), with a program like Fairuse Wizard for example:

Then you just copy the AVI files to your USB stick, plug'n'play.

If you're in the US your USB port may be crippled. Many (Most?) USB ports on dvd players only do music or still photos. RTFM, YMMV.

Yeah I'm in the U.S.

People have been able to use the USB port w/ success.

Something about it being in FAT32 formart ???????
