Problem with the uLauncher-Freezes after clicking "mass"

So after hours of trial and error, I finally got the uLauncher to finally bring me to that white screen that displays the folders. Now, I wish to install FreeMCBoot onto my PS2, and the only way to do it at this point is to do it through the USB. I go ahead and click the Mass folder, only to have the system freeze on me. I am frustrated because it took me a long time to get this close. Could someone explain what may be causing this freeze? Thanks.
