I have a friend who is a fashion designer who has asked me to take a bunch of her photos (.jpeg) and put onto a DVD with a music overlay so it would run like a video when the disc is inserted into a DVD player. What do you guys think is the best program to use and is there a guide for it?

I believe in Pinnacle Studio 8 you can do something similar to that. I know you can do it with Macromedia Director MX, for publishing on a website as i've done it, so there's a next project for her ;-)

FlyVCD, Photo2VCD, Honestech PhotoDVD 2.0, they're all good programs. Great transition effects and great quality, too.
