Hello friends,

Are these guys legit? Anyone here have any experience with this website? I was thinking about ordering HDLoader 3.8c and a 320GB HDD.

Thanx!

No, these guys are not reputable. I ordered my HDLoader from them on 01/04/09. The only confirmation e-mail I received came from PayPal. Here it is, 02/03/09, and I still have not received my two discs (should've ordered just the 1 to make sure I got it). The guy who runs it is apparently Sid Bolton, who lives in Canada. He has responded to my e-mails by asking me to confirm my shipping address, then responded that it must be stuck in customs. I opened a PayPal dispute on 01/15, then finally had to escalate it to a claim today.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HDLOADER.ORG!!!

I should have updated my original posting...

Your package is most likely processing through customs. It took my package longer than a month to clear, but this was during the busy Christmas season. Sid is very disorganized, but he seems to be an honest business man. Ask him for the tracking number to confirm shipment has indeed been made. After that, all you can do is wait.

Yes it was probably just bad timing. I have had things held up at customs before, and that is not the seller's fault.

I'm glad to hear that you guys received your discs. My hope that it is actually coming has gone from 0% to 1%. Well, with any luck, they're on the way. I just can't see two dvds being held up so long at customs. I'll keep this thread updated as to whether or not the discs come through.

Well I can understand them asking to verify your address. Things do seem to get lost in the mail at times.
Again though that is not the seller's fault, it is unfortunate, and its is a good thing to pay by paypal.

I hope you do get your discs.

I have had Sears Canada lose my stuff and they are reputable.
I just reordered and cancelled the lost ones.

No, and I've already asked him twice.

Hey bonghits so did you find a reputable place to buy hd loader. I tried ps2cover.com and still have not recieved my hd loader disk. And are there any American companies that sell these disks? It just seems to me that these Canadien companies are screwing us over.

Sorry you guys are having such a hard time finding a reputable HD Loader seller. Perhaps Sid can be e-mailed before hand to find out what the deal is.

As stated before, I ordered mine from HDloader.org and got it about a month later.

I ordered mine from HDloader.org, and after over a month and a half of waiting (and two alleged shippments) the seller dropped contact..I opened a paypal dispute 2 weeks ago, and just escalated it to a claim after a continued period of no contact. In the end, I bought AR max evo, did a memory card exploit with a usb drive, and it works fabulously hdloader V.08C. I can't even find any evidence that the supposed V3.8C actually exists.

I'm sorry things didn't work out for you guys. Mine works great and it's some of the best money I've spent gaming related.

I also tried the AR max method, but ended up with the scrolling screen problem. Since I decimated the original packaging, I didn't even bother trying to bring it back to g.s. The good news is I bought the ethernet/modem used at g.s. for $15.

It's been months since I've tried, and I've tried on 3 different ps2s. 2 fats, and 1 slim. What happens is when I go to load the file from usb, the screen starts scrolling, like it's a pal game. If somebody could tell me the sequence of buttons I need to press to load, it should work.
