just brought a new laser for my slim ps2 as last one read disc read read error but now it just reads no data and the disc does'nt spin any idea's .

a new laser requires desoldering of the anti static points.
There is a video on youtube for this (I think) this may be the problem.

i have tried looking though youtube but i couldnt find anything on desoldering anti static points how is this done and do i need a special tool.
