Somebody video'd me doing stuff and I want to burn to DVD. The file is an mp4 and I can view it in Quicktime. How can I burn it to a dvd?

I also have a wav file I would ideally like to burn to the same dvd.

I am a NOVICE and really don't want to buy any software as this is just an occasional thing. I do have various programs on my Media Center computer

Any help is appreciated

DVD Flick will accept .mp4 files, convert to DVD format and optionally burn to disk.

I'm not clear what you want to do with the wav file.
You can use a burning program like Imgburn to burn the VIDEO_TS folder and the .wav file to the same disk - a hybrid DVD/Data disk.
The standalone player will ignore the .wav file and play the movie.

Maybe "burn" is the wrong term. I want to create a dvd that will play on a dvd player that will play the content of the wav file and the mp4 file. These are both amateur videos taken on camcorders and are currently on my hard drive ( after a long slow download even though both are less than 6 minutes long)

WMV is also supported.
Add/Drag both files into the window and create a DVD.

One final question:
DVD Flick did not burn the disc. The burning took place, without my intervention, using IMGBurn which I had on the computer. OR, did DVDFlick come with IMGBurn and link to it automatically?

DVD Flick includes Imgburn.
On the top menu 'Project Settings' => 'Burning' => 'Burn project to Disc' is optionally on or off.

It does burn silently if turned on (and there is a blank in the drive).

I usually turn it off and check the output folder for playback before burning.
