Hi, I've been trying to burn Persona 3:FES (NTSC/J) version but have been failing.
What I'm working with:
Fat old PS2 SCPH 39006 NTSC-J, already chip modded a long time ago, can play both US and JP games.
Using SwapMagic 3.6 Japan Ver with slide tool
All attempts made on Verbatim DVD+R 16 speed, (MCC004) NEC ND-3520AW
I've tried rebuilding, which doesn't change the size of the ISO. Also, one of the files is >2GB, which means Nero's ISO/UDF burning from ISObusted files doesn't work.
I've tried using DVD Decrypter to burn as well at 1x,4x and 8x speeds.
I've tried using Nero 6 to burn at 1x,4x and 8x speeds as well.
The drives I've been using to burn are a Sony DRU-810A and an NEC ND3520AW. I've tried setting the drives' booktypes to DVD-ROM using DVD Decrypter for the Sony and WinBType for the NEC.
I've ended up with about 10 coasters so far.
My PS2 still runs normal discs, but using Swapmagic to load backups leads to a black screen although the drive is running.
