M3 Real With New Ds

I have a Black Ds Lite that i just got this month, and i ordered a M3 DS REAL with a 4gb sdhc memory card.
I saw a thread where somebody couldn't get it to work on his new ds, due to the touch to start screen..
is there anyway around this, or will it work fine?
Whats the verdict?

I didnt read the thread in question but I dont think it would be a problem. Even if you cant get through the initial user setup info screens with an M3 inserted (which I've never heard of being a problem before but I never tried it myself) you could always just start it up without the M3 and get through whatever setup you need to.

The M3 DS is not compatible with the DSi but I've never heard of issues with the DS Lite.

I think what you have seen is that the M3 card was not being seen by the DS. Then the DS just comes up with the touch to start screen. If this does happen, try putting the card in and out a few times and if that fails then the paper shim trick (paper behind the card to push it forward on to the contacts)But it will work with all DS's

i would say 99% of m3ds reals work with the ds , there will always be a small % that some wont work and iff so just send it back for a replacement .

always use the latest m3ds real firmware or sakura firmware .

always use good quality fast memory kingston , adata , transcend etc..... class 6 if you can get it ( class being the speed of the memory )
