Quick swap magic question

Hi there, long time reader first time poster...

I have recently purchased swap magic 3.6 DVD and CD

when i went to put the swapmagic DVD version in, in my browser it showed up as a PS2 Game so i clicked X and the screen went black like normal and then poof right back to the browser screen.

I didnt install the flip top cover, i simply got the package ran upstairs to see if it actually worked(i was skeptical and still am) put the disc in and nothing happened.

i didnt try the cd version but i really didnt see the neeed to after the DVD version didnt work.

i was wondering if its my model number? SCPH-75001...is it to new for swap magic? does this model not work with swap magic? or do model numbers play no role in swapmagics fury. lol is it because i dont have the flip top installed?

if anyone could help id be very very happy!

Swap Magic works fine with the V14 SCPH-75001 model.
The PS2 should read the DVD and the CD, you should try the CD to see if it works.
Make sure it is pressed down good on the spindle.
The reason you need the fliptop is to exchange the Swap Magic DVD or CD to play the backup.

The PS2 should read the disks. Try them in a friends PS2 if you can, and if they still don't work, then return them for an exchange.

Now it could jsut be your PS2. Are you able to read your Original PS2 games fine.
Could just be you need to clean your laser.

thanks! i jsut cleaned the laser and made sure the DVD version disc was fully on the spindale and it worked! thanks!
