any SF users out there?

I have been trying to figure this out - in SF (in preferences) when you select audio input sources and output destinations it seems like SF doesn't let you split the two. I have a Kontrol 1 box for mics in - SF sees it okay but when I select Kontrol 1 as my audio input source SF automaticaly selects it as my output - but I want my computer's audio to be the playback destination not the Kontrol 1.

how can I have separate I/O sources?
