You are definitely way behind with the news...DVD Decrypter is obsolete, hasn't been updated in ages.
Unless you are trying to rip "The Goonies" or something from that era, you'll need a program that is able to handle the new encryptions. get DVDFab HD Decrypter(if you want to go with free stuff) or AnyDVD(paid for software).
Originally posted by cyprusrom: It could if DVD Decrypter would be properly set up to work only as a ripper and to ignore any encryption.
Unless I missed it in the log, it seems the OP only uses DVD Decrypter, no AnyDVD...
Hi Cyprusrom, you are absolutely correct. I was only suggesting to the OP to use anydvd running in the background, as endo still likes to use dvd decrypter (endo is such a geek !)
Hi bry,
To be honest, I haven't backed up a DVD in ages. Sometimes I feel like getting a new release and have at it just for the challenge:)!
I am surprised about how many people are still using ancient software( I mean we're talking about at least a couple good years since DVD Decrypter has beed retired...).
Lately I just do everything in AVI(Divx/H.264) and watch it through XBMC.
