Question about Swap Magic PS1 boot disc for PS2

I just bought Swap Magic 3.6 DVD and CD discs. I am having no problem at all with the DVD swap disc for the PS2 games, but when I put in the CD swap disc for PS1 games and it tells me to put in the PS1 game, it always tells me that the disc is not a valid PS2 disc. That makes sense, since it is a PS1 game, but shouldn't the PS1 swap disc make it look for a PS1 game?

My question is, do I need to burn the game onto a DVD instead of a CD? Perhaps my PS1 swap disc is messed up? Maybe something else? Please help me out.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer on the board.

The Swap Magic discs are made for the PS2 both discs Dvd and Cd are only compatible with PS2 games.You will need something like Breaker Pro or a GameShark for PS1 to actually boot them up.
