I want to know what programs are recommended to make a copy of a DVD with the menu and movie intact (stripping out warnings, previews, etc.) I also want to use CCE for the encoding.
Does anyone have any recommendations or guides?

Thanks

DVD Rebuilder Pro has the option of doing movie and menu only, blanking out the extras.

Hi,

dvd rebuilder/pro works fastest and in a most resonable amount of time with a quad core pc.

I've used dvdfab platinum, and it allows you during customize to keep or get rid of what you don't want, including warnings and trailers.

That is also my normal process, as the times that I used Rebuilder to do movie and menu only, it did blank the extras but left the warnings and studio intros. That could have just been something I did wrong in the settings but I haven't took the time to investigate as VobBlanker is working just fine. It can also save space by reducing the menus to still images and doing away with the audio for them as well.(newly discovered, so I thought I would share)

There is absolutely no need for CCE in this day and age, HC Encoder (free and multi-core aware, now at version 0.23) should be given a spin by any of you that haven't yet tried it.
NOW :)

Agreed.

HC delivers fantastic quality results. That's what i've been using, and will continue to use.
