Regarding my earlier popular message
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/70088

I did not find any post (I hope) regarding software called ReJig so let's start.

I tried this new piece of software. Earlier I had problems with muxing elementary streams into VOB files and especially problems with progressive ntsc video. Known problem with Ifoedit. Saying that I tried ReJig. I demuxed elementray streams using ReJig (video, four ac3 audio and two subtitle streams) from two source dvds in order to compile one "perfect" version. After this I authored these elementary streams back to VOBs with ReJig in ntsc mode. And bingo. Output seemed to be okay. Dvd clock runs as it should and length of output vobs is correct when it is played back. Also audio and subs run in perfect sync.

However, ntsc video in this case is kind of hybrid ntsc format (35% progressive and 65% interlaced or vice versa) so I will have try this also with 100% progressive video when I have time.

On the other hand, I know that my Sony player can handle even corrupted progressive ntsc authored by Ifoedit. So I will have to try this new compilation with another player which I know don't like Ifoedit outputs.

Does any one else have experience with ReJig and ntsc?

A search at the top finds nothing on Rejig except your post, and in all my rummaging through the forums, I have not seen it referred to.

Be patient. There's a lot of knowledgable people around here. You just might get someone's input.

If you think education is expensive, try ignorance. Help! Please educate me.

No ReJiggers here I guess.

I tried the disc I created with ReJig in a Philips player (722) which seemed to playback it normally. Previous test with IFOEdit proge dvd using this player was not successful. Picture would freeze after few seconds.

I've just started experimenting with Rejig for making multiple movie backups. I'll let you know if I have any problems or run across any info that might be relevant to yours.
