Help!! I just got a R4 card V2 for my son. I have downloaded the software and added it onto the sandisk 2gb card. I have also added 2 games, however I understand that I can add up to 50? The card will only allow me to add 2??? Has anyone else had this prob? I looked on google and believe I may have the wrong software on it?? Anyone got any ideas about where I can get the right software.

Thanks

Hi,

What tells you you can't add more than 2 ?

It all depends on the size of the ROMS (.NDS Files)

We have 2 of those R4 cards, and both of then have an average of 20+ games on them.

I created a folder \ROMS and stored them in there.

I used Unofficial v1.19 firmware, to fix some of the issues with a few new games.

What version of firmware is running on there now ?

v1.18 or v1.2x (Shoud say on the bottom left when R4 boots)

Thank you for your reply, I have looked in the bottom left hand corner and can see V1, 1.8.
When I try to add more then two games, I get a message saying the device is full? I said before that I had a sandisk 2 gb card, I don't I have a 2gb card but it reads Micro SD card, nothing is mentioned of Sandisk - Do you know if this could be the problem? (Sorry I am a complete novice when it comes to things like this?)
Many Thanks

when you connect the micro sd card to your computer, and right click on it, select 'properties', what free space is displayed? or the total capacity of the card?

It says 120mb in total. 12.6 is used by the software the rest is free, leaving 107 free for games. Looking at the games, some are 32mb, others are 64mb, so if the card is only 120, it would make sense that only a few games could go on it?
I thought that up 40-50 games could go on these cards?? Do I have the wrong card then??

Many Thanks Gem

Yes - you should really have 1 or 2GB.

A 2GB card only costs a few $ or £ so buy a new one and start again.
