PROBLEM BURNING VCD WITH NERO

everytime i try to burn my mpeg format to my nero i'm always getting a message"invalid format" and it's given me three choices either"to turn off the create standard compliant cd" or "re-encode the video file or simply just cancel everything,i'm trying to burn a ntsc film i've tried two different templates using TMPGEnc (videocd ntsc)&(videocd ntscfilm with the forced film activated on my DVD2AVI)and still no luck...HELP!! your response is highly appreciated.

Weird, TMPGEnc templates and Nero normally work together. Sure you have the latest versions of both?

And if you're 100% sure that you've used TMPGEnc templates and haven't messed up any settings, try to burn VCD anyway and select "turn the standard compliance off" and see what happens.
