hello is there a setting in tmpgenc or tmpgenc dvd aurtor or nero that could help me with this problem?
when i convert avi files to dvd+r useing the obove programs i have a problem if i want to recopy the disc
the video plays fine but when i go to copy it it always fail why is this?
i have also tried clone dvd
dvd decripter and nero
but still no luck

yo!!
was up like the pic at the bottom i thort it was so cool i saved it as my msn pic
safe
i have just used that program now to convert a film im going to burn it now and let you no
tghanks alot
p.s when i conveted the film i just selected dvd and then put it throgh TMPGEnc dvd author is that correct

Yeah, G, that's the method, Mainconcept, (select dvd), then run it thru TMPEGEnc DVD author.

ok i done that but it still failed when itied to copy the dvd+r!!?
i have new discso i will try that!!
i have just looked at the disc tha i copied of my mate and where u can se how much has been bunt onto the disc its only about half of what all of mine is could it be this is the problem becase it always fails over half mark in nero

when ever i use main consept i make sure all the specs are right- but yet the video keeps skipping (and the frame rate is correct)

i have been to all the comp shops bye me and they dont no
please can u tell me what disc i should use
and any sites i could get them from

I've not had anything play about on me , like jumping/skipping to date ... and have done a lot now>
But I am curious as to the problem you've explained pcshateme , so if you give exact details of the project you undertook incl. all specs I will think heavily about what the problem could be.

Yo Homeboy , try uninstalling ALL burning software & then just install Nero ... see if that helps.
Did you manage to convert your AVI file(s) & at least play them in PowerDVD (or similar) to check before putting to disc ?

yeh i always check them !!
and then put them on a disc
there fine when they are on the disc to wach there good but i just cant recopy them ??

Hiya gunit2004,
If it is a Disk Copying problem, it can only be one or more of the following reasons:
1 - faulty hardware
2 - faulty media
3 - faulty burn
4 - windoze is being huffy
It will not have anythig to do with TMPGEnc or DVD Author, as once it is on disk it is just a collection of bytes - the operating system doesn't care about the content of a disk, just whether it can be read or not.

i always have a problem with animes (witch are ~24 fps) so i tell it to do Progressive frame so i can access the greyed out 24 fps setting- i t still skipps like every second or so.

yo
i put the film on to verbatim dvd+r and i can copy it fine
it must have just been the disc's i was useing
does any 1 no any sites for cheep dvd+r's
ive checked out www.bigpockets.co.uk and they look good has any one had any media of them?
a nother problem how come when i copy a film of dvd+rw to dvd+r it copys but the end of the film is missing any ideas on how to fix this
