I am using IE 7 and DVDfab HD Decrypter 5.2.3.0.

DVDFab is acting like it is working -- will go through the process and even have a msg saying it was completed. Yet each time I go to the folder/folders I had picked to save the movie in, nothing will be in there. There was not an issue until this past weekened.

Ok here is the exact process I tried to use and the results:

1. Placed ?Hancock? into the dvd drive.
2. Opened DVDfab 5.2.3.0 ? chose ? Start DVDFab HD Decrypter
3. the program ? Located DVD source: G:\[Hancock]
4. I clicked ? Choose ISO Image File ? I made a folder called Hancock and directed it to be saved there ? H:\Documents and Settings\Candy73\Desktop\Movies\Hancock\HANCOCK.iso
5. The only thing I have checked is ? Copy DVD-Video [VIDEO_TS folder]
6. Pushed ? Start
7. Processing ? 13:19:44 Analyzing of DVD started
8. Processing ? 13:19:47 Analyzing of DVD completed successfully
9. Processing ? 13:19:47 Copy process started
10. Copying VTS_01.5.VOB ?. (located under the option to turn off pc when done)
11. Processing ? 13:39:52 Copy process completed successfully
12. Processing ? 13:39:53 Process completed successfully!
13. I clicked ? Ok ? Finish ? Closed out DVDfab.
14. I went into my Movie folder ? looked into the Hancock folder and it was empty again.

So any ideas ? Thanks!

In your "My Documents" folder, there should be a subfolder labeled 'DVDFab". Have you tried looking in it for your copy? It should be in the FullDisk folder if it is in there. If it is not there and you have tried doing a search for it to no avail, then maybe you can try completely removing the program, running a registry cleaner, and then reinstalling from scratch.

Are you using DVDFab HD Decrypter (the free version)? The .iso feature is no longer supported in this version.

Edit: Found another thread where it stated that the inability to do .iso files is only temporary. So your guess is as good as mine as to the future of then with the free version. Just know that you are not alone with the problem and it is known to the authors of the program :)

Hey gang (new to this site)

I've been ripping DVDs ok with DVDFab, DVD Decrypter & DVD Shrink for a few months with no problems. But a few weeks ago I bought The Express, The Ernie Davis Story (great movie BTW!) and it couldn't rip it at all. Just kept trying to read the DVD, but crashing before it pulled up the data.

I even tried to use AnyDVD which didn't work either.

NOW, I can't rip any other DVDs at all... Old ones or new ones. It seems to be some kind of issue reading the DVD

ALSO - I tried to use my old method with RipIt4Me and got the same result - it can't read the data & gets choked up a few seconds after trying to read the DVD.

RipIt4Me give me this error:

ReadSector Failed. Status = 1 SCSI status = 2 LastError = 0 Sector 2442239
Sense:70 0 3 0 0 0 0 A 0 0 0 0 11 5 0 0

ANY IDEAS?
