I have an Emachine that suddenly will not open the CD drive door. You can hear it trying to open, but it won't. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Moved to the dvd drives forum cause I'll take a guess this is a burner.

The drive could be going but does it have power? (obvious question but hey :)) Check out this link.

To open a stuck or jammed drive.....unfold a paperclip and stick it into the tiny pinhole located on the front. This usually will remedy the problem.
