AfterDawn Sages! I come here for my occasional bonehead questions and you always steer me in the right newbie direction. I have another question I need some help with, if you would be kind enough to hook a brutha up.
I've been using DVD Flick for a while now to burn video to dvd, and even though it's not the fastest thing in the world, I can usually pop in a project before bedtime and wake up with a completed dvd. However, lately ever time I do a project DVD Flick goes through all the encoding jazz but at the burning phaseImgburn gives me the following error: "1 from finalize: could not find burner drive".
I've checked my settings and the destination drive is clearly by dvd drive. Am I doing something simple that's suddenly throwing everything off? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! You guys are the best!
If you run Imgburn manually (instead of letting DVD Flick initiate the burn) does it give the error mesage?
You can find the Imgburn folder in the main DVD Flick installation folder.
\Program Files\DVD Flick\Imgburn
I don't know. I don't usually run it independently. I'll try it out when I get home. BTW, I uninstalled DVD Flick and then re-installed the latest version (along with Imgburn) last night, so I think I at least have the latest stuff. I even went as far as to download the latest firmware for my dvd drive, just in case. I was trying to take care of this myself, but it always seems like I need help from you guys. :-)
I don't know if this has anything to do with anything or if I'm just a lucky bum. I tried burning the same video file again but just changed the burning speed (made it slower) and it worked! I don't get it, it doesn't make sense to me, but it actually worked. I'm going to try other files before I declare a success.
