I am trying to hard code subtitles to my avi file through virtualdubmod. I always use this program, but I recently ran into a problem when the .sub/idx files have multiple languages in them. I cannot find a way to change the default language. I now have a Japanese avi encoded with Japanese subtitles. This is NOT helping me to understand what is going on in the film. I see numerous threads for changing the language in an srt file, but nothing for help with a sub/idx

Any help is greatly appreciated.
