I downloaded a movie from the web,and it is in the RIP AVI format.I did burn it on a DVD+R disc using DVD SANTA software.Apparently in did burn it,but it will not play on any DVD Player. When I look in my computer I see two folders, one TS Video, and the other TS Audio, but like I said before,it wil not play.
What I am doing wrong.
My computer has all the latest codecs.
Pleae advise!

Could be the fact that your dvd player does not support AVI playback.

Use Dvd Flick to convert, Imburn to burn.

DvdFlick:

A guide to use it:

Imgburn:

BTW: There are much better proggies available than Dvd Santa. Check either (or both) links in my sig for the best programs out there right now.

Did you burn it in the wrong region, PAL (most of the world), NTSC ( NA and Japan) and, not sure, but have heard DVD Santa isn't that great, try DVD Flick (free). The 2 folder's are normal, AUDIO_TS should be empty and VIDEO_TS is the movie and should play on the computer. Before you burn it to DVD (1/2 the rated speed of the DVD), make sure it play's.

Hi Guys: I followed your recommendations, and I used DVD Flick and Image Burner. It took about 3 hours to encode and burn, but it was worth it. The good thing is thst when DVD Flick finished , Image burner took over automatically and burn the DVD.

Thanks again for your assistance,
Keep up the good work!
