I've just installed MeGUI and am getting ready to convert a DVD, but I've run into something that's not quite clear to me. I'm following the guide for DVD to XVID.
On page 4, I'm using the D2V creator and selecting the first VOB. I think there's a word or two missing though, because I can't tell if the guide is saying that selecting the first VOB will load the whole set, or if I need to do this multiple times. I assume it means it will load the whole set, but I thought I'd check in on this.
Actually, it does load the whole set when you select the .VOB file. I had the same question when I first read the guide as it is unclear to me as well. That said, if you are simply wanting to convert to xvid, I would suggest AutoGK. It is much simpler to work with and a lot less hassle. I tried MeGUI for awhile but mostly just for the experience, I have since let it go to the way side and now stick solely with AGK.
