I can't seem to edit my post now?

I used to be able to edit my posts if I made a mistake or whatever.
But now theres no icon or anything, so if I make a mistake or leave a couple of words out of a sentence (and that happens alot with me) i can't fix it. Is this something that's happened on purpose or what? does it have to do with being a junior member? I couldn't find the answer anywhere in old posts, so now im asking. thank a million. lol!

When you are signed in and looking at your post, there is a picture of a piece of paper and pencil i think at the top right hand corner of your post. Click on it to edit it.

Nothing's there (weird,huh) and I also can't find any icons for pm as well. maybe my browser is going haywire? I only remember editing my posts in the old look forums but not after the change to the new look. I know the JVM? in IE is acting up, but that wouldn't have anything to do with it! I'll try logging on with a different browser and see if that makes a difference.

Is there a yellow bar above my post stating the date and time of post. If so, follow it across to the right and tehre should be something there.

I could see the yellow bar but no icon, so am going to do a full clean out of IE, it's not as simple as it sounds because it connected to OE is it? Oh well, time is get cracking and fix it. This is one wierd prob, I've never seen something like this.

Just so no one posts again I thought I'd tell you the probs now fixed, looks like it was a browser fault. still strange, but. thanks Oriphus for letting me know it was a fault with my pc.
