So i have a flip top made i have a usb memorystick and codebreaker. Now can i use these for an exploit or am i doing this backwards? I havent had any luck looking for anything to help i just see swap magic stuff unless thats what i need?

You could try the AR Max exploit method but instead of using .max use .cbs (for codebreaker) try the tutorial section @ sksapps

I said try the AR Max exploit method and i linked him to a list of tutS! Whats the point in flaming me because i aint got every tutorial ever made saved as a bookmark!?

What I meant by if your going to help is you need to know yourself what you are talking about to help others.
It just can confuse new people if you just link them to the wrong tutorial and method.
1. he can't just rename the .max to .cbs without using a program such as PS2Savebuilder.
2. The codebreaker method is just a bit different than armax and does not work the same as Armax. It is working from an exploit in the Pelican bin itself, that allows you to launch uLe.

You said try the Ar MAx exploit, but instead of using .max use .cbs.
So instead why didn't you just say use the Codebreaker tutorial over at sksapps.com seeing you have codebreaker.
They are both two totally separate tutorials. There was no need to even mention Ar max exploit when he doesn't even mention having Armax.

Ok heres a dumb question i have free mc installed on the card. now how do i boot it do i have to load it everytime from codebreaker or do i put in a ps1 game and load or what? And as for the back ups i make i know how to rip them and remake a dvd/cd but i read i have to patch with something that i obviously am missing here.

Ok you need to patch your ISO images with the ESR disc patcher GUI v0.24a, which you can find in the ESR Public Beta thread.
That way you can play the backup using the ESR.ELF
So once its patched, just load the disk in the PS2 and it should launch as long as you installed the ESR.ELF with your fmcb 1.8 install.
