I wasn't sure where to throw this question out, so I hope I am in the correct spot.

Anyway, I have 4 image files, iso I believe. They are all about 600 MB. My question is, instead of burning them all on 4 different CDs, is it possible to burn them all on to one DVD? If not is it possible to extract the contents and save them to the hard drive and use them straight from there?

My friend said that it is not possible to burn multiple image files to one DVD, but it may be possible to extract the contents to the hard drive.

Thanks for the help.

Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee. - Jules Winfield

Multiple, disk image files (.iso), can be loaded into DVD Shrink.

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_.../dvd_shrink.cfm

Run DVD Shrink.
'File' > 'Open Disc Image' - locate and open the first ISO.
'Re-author'.
Drag 'Title 1' from right to left pane.

'File' > 'Open Disc Image' - locate and open the second ISO.
'Re-author'.
Drag 'Title 1' from right to left pane.

'File' > 'Open Disc Image' - locate and open the third ISO.
'Re-author'.
Drag 'Title 1' from right to left pane.

There should be three titles in the left pane.

Click 'Backup' and save as an ISO or burn.

Thanks for the help.

One more stupid question before I depart. These image files are I speak of belong to a game. Therefore, each of the image files belong to one of the four disc required for game installation. Will this process, explain above, do what I want it too?

Thanks again

I know nothing of games and I doubt that DVD Shrink would handle them.

Unless the disk is for an emulator (and then you burn it as a data disk) you will need to burn 4 cd's.
Game disks have certain information written to very specific positions on the disk.. multi disk games even more so..
