Hi there,

Hope you can give me some answers..
I am a student at the University of Bradford. I am in a group project and we want do a website for the local clubs around Bradford/Leeds.
To mention is, that this is only a project idea for my lecture "How to run a business".

Our idea is to give the users an impression of live events with DJ´s via live audio streaming.. I suppose the clubs have to pay for any royalties of the played artists a DJ uses in his performance. What would it be like if we would do a live audio streaming in addition? Do we have to pay again royalties to MCPS or is it included in the paid royalties of the clubs?

What would it really cost, if you want users to participate at such events? What best to start with? 40, 100 users able to listen to an event?
How much would be the royalties, if they have to be paid additionally? I have been on the website of MCPS, but I did not get any answers.. THe only thing I know is, that royalties have to be paid to the artists, but not how much and if it depends on how large your audience is...

I would appreciate every help you can give me.
