Figured it out they have 5 major titles. U have to use the Fifth one [1:43:53] in CloneDVD2. This way U can copy all the TITLES

lamchops1: Yes up to date ANYDVD. Like I posted earlier,I figured it out. Hollywood is doing strange things too their DVDs..If U open it up in CloneDVD2 [Slysoft, or Elby], it shows 5 main movie titles, plus the xtras and some blanks. AnyDVD Rip, DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, DVDFab won't rip it, only CloneDVD2 works with the 5th Movie title plus the xtras, U have to uncheck the first 4. Personally I don't care 4 all the xtras, I prefer just the Movie. But I have a friend who likes all the xtras, he does me to many favors to deprive him of his likes

lamchops1: No not really, trial & error works pretty well along with a little understanding that Hollywood is always going to make a change in what they do with their product. I seriously doubt that they will ever achieve a fully locked DVD or CD, some how some way will always be available
I've always been able to copy my DVDs, through trial and error along with different programs, some a lot harder then others. Some using numerous programs

I just ripped it in reauthor mode in Shrink and AnyDVD with no probs. Make sure you select, "Title 1", thats the movie, the rest are junk files.

I am having a problem with transporter 3 also....I used dvd fab v5.2.3.0 to rip the movie and shrink to encode and burn. after shrink does its magic I always push the disc back in to make sure I got a good burn. Everything worked on comp....but when I put the disc in the dvd player in my bedroom got read error...
DISC ERROR
PLEASE EJECT THE DISC
PLAYBACK FEATURE MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE ON THIS DISC
My specs
athlon 3000+
windows xp sp 3
lite on dvdrw shm-165h65 burner
pioneer dvd-117 for ripping
2 gigs ram
I just did a complete format and reinstall of xp and this is the first disc I tried to burn....haven't had this problem in a very long time and usually WAS bad discs...but I don't think the discs are bad....I use verb and also tried some tdk's my friend uses....like I said usually no problem with either of these.

Can you post your burn log?
Did you check the rip for any errors before burning?
99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

How do you post burn logs...never had to do it before....
Like I said the movie plays fine on my computer, but when I take it and put it into a dvd player it won't load.
I use powerdvd on the computer and nero 8.3.7.1 for burning
I just tried to redo the disk after downloading the newest version of anydvd and the same thing happens....movie burns fine but will not play in my dvd player.

I'd guess that the latest AnyDVD releases probably address issues with Transporter 3.

OK...burning with decrypter instead of nero worked like a charm....a big thanks to dialysis1 and witenoiz for responding to my problem and helping me out.
THANKS GUYS!!!!
oh yeah and yes the newest anydvd also worked....shrink would not load movie before I downloaded the newest anydvd.

i downloaded clonedvd2 and tried to rip it with that but clonedvd2 said that it doesn't rip copyrighted dvds. what do i need to do? i usually use dvdfab but it doesn't work right with this movie. please guide me in the right direction.

CloneDVD is the compression/burn program. AnyDVD is the program used to remove the encryption. You usually use both AnyDVD and CloneDVD to backup your movie.

alright i got it going. thanks. i had an older version anydvd and it wasn't working so i got a newer one. i just don't use it that much to keep it up to date. thanks for helping.

I finally got Transporter 3 2 disc edition. DVDFab had absolutely no problems.
99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

ok, so i read over this and unless i missed it my problems have not been addressed lol. It is with Transporter 3
so i usually use ripit4me, dvd decrypter, and shrink and nero.
ripit4me runs really really slow.. like over 24 hrs before it finally errored out.
when ripit4me does not work i move on to DVDFab HD Decrypter VOBBlanker and then follow above.
But DVDFab can not read the disc.
Any ideas? I do prefer to use the programs I listed above and would prefer not to dl any addl programs as the ones mentioned have worked to back up over 1k of my movies :) im a lil bias to them :)
Any help would be appreciated.

Trouble is, dialysis1 confirmed that DVDFab works in his post directly before yours..

Titles 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 are useless.

what version of DVD FAB are you using....Fab v 5.2.3.0 ripped the movie just fine....then I used shrink on it and the decrypter to burn thanks to the guys above who helped me. Make sure your copy of fab is current.

How do I get Clonedvd and anydvd? Are they freeware or do I have to pay for them? If so how much do they cost? I'm trying to burn Transporter 3 with Ripit4me and it says that it has 1 protected pgc's and can not rip it. Please help. Thanks.

No they are not free. To find them just use Google. There is a freeware method listed in the posts above.
