nero slide show does not work on tv

I created a slide show on a SVCD using Nero 6. Everything works fine on my computer when I run the SVCD. But when I run the SVCD on my TV using a 2 year old Daewoo dvd player, the slides are screwed up. I see only part of the photo and that too is not clear.
Am I missing something in the setting sof my dvd player or is something wrong with my burning format?

All the videos in the same svcd play fine
