I have tried to rip the DVD of <welcome to the sticks> (original French title: <bienvenue chez les ch'tis>) by using DVDFAB HD Decrypter, v. 5.3.2.3, which is dated January 2009 and should be updated for the most recent protections (in fact it worked 100% on all recent dvds so far). Unfortunately, there is no way ! i got a message of "unable to read the disc" right at the first step of disc analysis. Then, i tried with Ripit4me, but the decrypting procedure, when arrived at 94%, slows down and progressively is arrested.
Do you have any idea on ripping alternatives? is it about a new protection algorithm?

What pathplayer setting are you using with DVDFab?

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

Seems like Disney is adding a new protection to their DVDs.

i made it!
I did it with AnyDVD + cloneDVD by Slysoft (trial version), it was easy and quick.
It definitely seems that Dvdfab HD was not updated for that kind of protection.

Thanks to all.

You are welcome,

and to many here at afterdawn, having more than 1 decrypter (the top 2) is the best choice to make !

I've only ever used the 21day trial of AnyDVD and since then have used only DVDFab, there's not a movie out there that i haven't been able to do with DVDFab.
Superior is subjective :)
