(sorry, i don't know if this is the right forum to address the matter, if it's not, please advise me which is the right one!)
I have ripped the DVD of Happy Feet (used DVDFab + VoB blanker) and made a backup copy to a DVD-R. Fine. If i want to have a copy of the movie to transfer to my mp3 player (i suppose in a wma or mp4 format), how can i do? How do i extract the file(s) and convert it to the desired compressed file? furthermore, that should be one file only, while on the DVD there are many...

First, read the players manual and see what formats will support( most likely will go with *mp4, but just check). Also, check the maximum resolution and the codecs supported.

Then you can download the free software Any_Video_Converter and convert your DVD.

From the drop down menus you will have to choose the proper format, codec and resolution.
