I have used AutoMKV a couple times since I'd like to compress some DVD's I have so I can store them in 1 GB or so on my HDD and not the full 7.5 GB or even compressed 4.36 GB dvd rips, since that's still too much space for me for a DVD. However, I don't want the crappy avi quality rips that are all made to be 700 mb and end up with tiny resolution.

So I try compressing some movies using AutoMKV using x264 codec, keeping original resolution, and I would give it 1.5 GB or so.
For one movie it worked, but for a few others it ends up saying successful but I go to the output file and there's no final .mkv file, just lots of various file types like audio tracks and temporary files. I did the same settings for the movies so far, so what could cause it to simply not work?
