Hi,can anyone help me please jus downloaded virtual dub from this site i can't seem to get it to work when i load virt dub and open avi files to join together,keep getting error message....Couldnt locate decompresser for format "xvid"(unknown)Virtual Dub requires a video for windows compatable codec to decompress video. all help would be apprciated thanks.

The XviD codec can be downloaded here.

You may find that Avidemux is more flexible when it comes to appending files.
