I have had many Ds carts dstt, cyclo, r4. Anyway I got a EZ-Flash Vi to try out. I followed there instructions I will paste below.

Creating/Getting Cheat Files
Simple Way
In the Simple way all you need is Teammarry's CheatCodeTransferforEZ5 and the Action Replay code manager. Simply unzip teammarry's tool anywhere on your computer. The structure must remain the same though. You now need the code manager from the actual AR devices. Find the USA version here and the Europe version here. Install and run the program. Then right click the codelist you want and paste it into the white box under 'My Codelists'.You can repeat this for every subscription you have. This may take several minutes depending on your internet connection(you need internet for this). Once thats done run teammarry's program, click on the xml button navigate to C:\Program Files\Datel\Action Replay Code Manager\local_codelists (assuming you left everything default). Select one of the files there other than default_codelist. Then chose where you want your cheat files to end up(to save time point it to your CHT directory on your microSD card. Repeat this for every codelist you downloaded.

All goes fine and when I start the game it lets me enable cheat codes and even select the ones I want to use. When the game starts you are supose to press L+R+start to enable the cheat but it does nothing when I press them.
Im runing EZ-FLASH Kernel 1.90 and ez5i_firmware_v5 so its all updated.
So anyone using the EZ-Flash Vi could you tell me what im doing wrong?
do u have the latest firmware for Vi? download from here http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=5101 you can download all cheat codes from here http://cheats.gbatemp.net/ pick the EZARCODE.DAT
unzip and put that dat inside a CHT folder. so on your micro sd card there should be:
CHT
moonshl
ez5sys.bin
you will also get folders 'SAVE' and 'ROMINI' automatically.
to turn on the cheat, hightlight the game you want, then on bottom screen, pick on the orange cicurlar icon, top left, a new screen pops up, select CheatEngine as ARDS, set your cheats there at bottom. save and start game.
Thanks MaryD7 I was able to get a few cheats runing in mario kart. But in animal crossing I cant get any cheats to work. When I click the orange circle with 2 arrows to turn the cheats on it just freezes the DS. Looks like these ez-flash vi are not compatible with very many cheats at all. At least on the games I play and compared to my dstt and clclo, cheats allways work on them.
