Your firmware seems to be up to date. DMA is on. Disc MID is MCC03RG30. Yet you got ?KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR??

As my understanding, ?KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR? means a bad media. If you have burnt successfully with the disc form same spindle/package before updating Nero9, that may not be the case. (MID shows as MCC which is same as Verbatim, though it could be OEM. May I ask the brand of the disc you are using?)

Would you mind to try ImgBurn (freeware) to copy your file to check the possibility of that Nero 9 has a problem?

Finalize CD : FALSE
Multisession : TRUE
Multisession type: : Start multisession

Change these settings and try burning at 8x or just use ImgBurn as suggested.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

@ dialysis1

Aren?t those setting for UDF? I?m not so familiar with UDF yet, though I assume OP?s UDF setting must be Automatic (I looked up online manual of Nero 9.) I mean, I do not think OP set manually so.

Though thanks for the opportunity to learn something about UDF.

Thanks for your help on this, I seem to have gotten it working now. I am using Verbatim 16x DVD-R which for some reason do not like being copied onto at 16x.

I change the options and speed as suggested and looks like it works now

Many thanks
