What is the best software preferably all in one tool like Ripit4me that will help me back up my movies? From ripping, decrypting and burning. I have been using programs like DVDShrink and RipIt4Me but I have been having problems with these programs lately especially with some of my newer movies like The Dark Knight, Hellboy 2, which I'm trying to backup and take on the road with me. Lately I've been getting burning problems, and if they burn right they do not play right, like the movie will start part ways through the movie and you cannot jump to the menu and cannot change chapters.
What is everyone using these days, what works?
Thanks in advance.

Hi rtm27:

I have used dvdfab both free and paid. Excellent software and support.
I usually will let DVDFab do all the work for lacking of knowing any better programmes.
So save the folder in DVDFab and then process & compress with the other programmes?
Question: I'm not familiar with fixvts/vobblanker for processing and I haven't used DVD Shrink in along time.
Do these programmes do a better job?
Appreciate your recommendations,

Dvdfab doesn't always give the cleanest rips, so I use fixvts to process the files. I choose the folder I saved the video_ts files in, and I process them there. Once it's finished, I open dvd shrink and choose the folder I processed the files in, choose where I want the output to go to, then I have dvd shrink transcode the files.

Dvd Shrink does not burn. Using Imgburn is a solid way to go. Imgburn was just recently updated as well.

Hi bryston, rtm27 and members:
I've just had to do a clean install on my system because of Microsoft Updates breaking my sonicencoders in Media Center and corrupting my registry. Spring cleaning has arrived!
Also just installed more memory on my Dell 5150 from 1 GB to 3 GBs (Pentium D820, Dual Core 2.8 GHz).
So before I junk up my computer with unnecessary software (Nero 6 comes with a lot of extra stuff I don't use), I would greatly appreciate your opinions on Imgburn in place of my old Nero 6. I use it to burn data DVDs/CDs (add info after), ISO, movies, etc.
Many thanks,
katy

I haven't had any problems at all using imgburn, which I almost use exclusively to burn my dvd's (I burn the dvd folders, as I prefer not to make an iso image).
For cd's, I use cdburnerXP Pro, which I love its gapless track burning function. It's great to hear 1 track end and the next one begin with no pause.

I use imgburn for most burns, and i still have Nero 6 which still gets used often for multiple concurrent burns (ie for burning the same movie or data to one or more discs). Imgburn is excellent, i use it a hell of a lot.
