How can I burn a usable dvd from movies on my HD? I have a HP dvd1035 disk drive.

I believe he is refering to an avi file that is a "dvd rip" file. You need to use a program like dvd flick (freeware).

That was what i was guessing as well.

If that is the case; then Dvd Flick (freeware) is certainly a way to go.

Dvd Flick to convert - Imgburn to burn.
