Newbie here....sorry if this has been posted. It is tough to know if something has been discussed just reading the topic names. i apologize in advance.
That being said....I've read through a couple of these threads and am having a tough time with 'Doubt'....I got the IMGBURN program when nothing else seem to work. But I am confused. I read the DVD files to IMGBURN tutorial, and I read the ISO IMAGE to IMGBURN tutorial. I kind of understand them, but my question is what are the steps before you get to that step? Do I rip with DVDfab? That didn't seem to work. Do I rip with DVDDecrypter? That works, but then I can't find the file it creates. It seems with anything I do - DVD shrink will not work. Either it encounters an error, or the file I want won't show up when I try and open files.....I'm just at wit's end with this movie.
Would it be possible for someone to go step by step and explain exactly what to do in what steps?
Hi....I appreciate your reply, but I do not appreciate your sarcasm. There has been issues with this movie, and I've tried 5 separate solutions. Been on Cdfreaks, and here....I know the process, and the USUAL methods of ripping, shrinking and burning normal movies. I was asking for aide in doing this problem movie.
Thread title renamed from "Having a tough time ripping" - a title such as that in a forum named "DVD Ripping" is as bad as "Please Help". In future please see here about thread titles ~ http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/440385
If you have any further problems/questions, please use the existing Doubt thread linked to above.
..the reason you think replies such as rtm27's above are sarcastic is because of the sheer number of closed threads throughout the various forums; one of the reasons for closures is that a simple forum search/google search would have revealed the existing thread for any given movie, and to maximise the chances of people finding answers easily we allow only one thread for any given movie.
Threads (partly) get 'buried' due to the amount of duplicate threads that get raised, and as to the Doubt thread being in an incorrect forum, far too many people post things in the wrong place, far too often, however a simple search always reveals all, and as i say we only allow one thread per movie anyway, so all the help is always easy to find.
