i got a M3 Real through the post last week and put a few games on it and the latest firmware but this is all that i get

i have tried the SDHC memory in another DS real and it works fine so i am assuming that it is the M3 Real that is the problem, any-one else seen this screen before, if so am i correct in thinking its the cart that is stuffed?

Thanks

I have the same exact problem with TWO M3DS reals. Is it possible they are both garbage?

iff you look on your memory card does it look like this -

You have a fake card

The real M3Real does not come up with this.

The card should say www.adapter.com on it - if it says anything else like this - its a fake (its a clone R4 or DSTT) worth less than $10 return it for a refund.

If you can wait (2-4 weeks) then dealextreme.com sells genuine ones (and also the adaptese variety - just avoid that one) Alt nip to www.adapter.com and look at their approved suppliers list.

So as per my picture i am i to believe the DS cart has had it?, i doubt its a fake as it was bought from Dealextreme form where i have bought before with no problems, i have contacted them anyways so hopefully it will be just a matter of an exchange, any1 had any experience of faulty goods from them?

No but they are selling this adaptese version, they are advertising it as M3real adaptese, if this is the version you bought then that is why it is a fake.

I believe they probably got a load from their supplier and decided to sell them but were honest and advertise them as such.

hmmmmmmmm sounds like its a fake im afraid though even fakes should "work" try downloading the software needed from the fakes site - http://www.m3adaptes.com/Downloads.htm just to see if it works , must be worth a try !

woof811.

the screen that says menu im sure ive seen it before but it could have been a dstt clone . no help to you im just thinking out aloud .

ps. further investigation has revealed that this is indeed a big fake making it a m3ds notreal ! - http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.21090 i thought that screen looked like a dstt clone .

on further inspection it is indeed a Fake, (Adaptes) this is a soley unacceptable way of selling, they are clearly marketing this as a proper DS real.....

i will be sending them a rtaher sharp email but i doubt it will get me anywhere!

Tried downloading and installing the fake software for the shear hell of it but it still didnt work....oh well, had better wait for Dealextreme to reply.

DealExtreme had this in the description: "- m3adaptes.com M3DS (note the difference from m3adapter)"

So technically if you complain, DX will say that they didn't advertise the thing as genuine and that is true. BUT I guess since this fake M3adaptes doesn't work at all, you have a case for a refund anyway.

Make sure that you get the www.m3adapter.com version (this comes with the RAM/GBA and Rumble packs. So if you don't want that, you can get the www.m3adapter.com kits without them for cheaper).

http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.14165

Btw DealExtreme is in no way 100% reliable just so you know. I've been sold a non-genuine product before that was advertised as genuine. Wasn't a flash cart though. But in this case, DX wasn't exactly in the wrong because they mentioned in the description that it was m3adaptes, not m3adapter. They should have been more clear though so people wouldn't get tricked. For eg. They could say "this is not a genuine M3 DS Real" just to clear up any confusion.

yeah thanks for that, after reading the description properly its there to see but its still misleading..

thought this was a reputable company as i have used them before... well we live and learn, hopefully they will be understanding and allow me to pay the extra for the proper cart....

If it is a dstt clone, I am wondering if it will work with dstt or R4 software, if you are sending it back anyway, could you try this and let us know?

They do supply software (www.adaptese.com) so you can get it working, however as a DSTT is $6 and this thing is $20 why would you want to keep it

A while ago I bought a fake dstt from the same store. It came in a box and it pointed me to http://www.ndstt.biz/ instead of http://www.ndstt.com for the software download.

I never bothered to send it back, but the darn thing only booted one in about 30 times.
