I bought Nero to burn movies onto dvd rw's, but i can't seem to get it to work. I don't think it knows what burner i am using. Can someone tell me how to setup the burner, or how to use nero in general?

Ok, after downloading the newest version, i have a new option for creating a DVD! I didn't have that before. Now, the problem i am having is that i can't burn my .avi files on this either. I have to put it into .bup/.vob/.ifo. Does anyone know how i can convert .avi to one of the above file types?
