Firefox 3.04
IE 6

I un-installed VUSE and loaded Bittorrent and copied some torrents to Bittorrent and cranked it up.
Few days later, notice Firefox 3.04 would not save nor download any torrents from ANY site. It shows on the status bar the torrent location but then turns to DONE.
I googled it and got several suggestions. One, remove the download files, uninstall Firefox, remove some registry entry and total clear your machine of Firefox which i did. someone suggested try registry booster to clean out the registry and reload 3.04, same thing.
Repeated the entire operation and this time found a old 2.0.0.2 and loaded it. SAME THING.

IE will download the torrents just fine.

ANY one know anything about this? Is it Bit torrent doing something or just a coincident?? This is really getting to me.

Anyone help?

ff should send the files to it's download location.. I suggest somewhere other than desktop..

then you set a default action for the files.. like run azureus.exe .. some torrent files (demonoid has problems sometimes) need to be manually opened after download due to some odd config iussues with the uploaders settings.. For these I download them as text files and add to azureus in the usual way.. they run just fine

another PEBKAC issue .. look at your file download actions and file associations and you will see where the problem is.
